What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Country Comfort Kennels & Camp For Pets?

One of our clients, a pitbull, did not like to have a lead placed around his neck, nor did he like to have the lead taken off his neck. In order to place the lead on him, I had to crawl into his kennel run with him, sit with him for a little bit showing him plenty of love by petting him and talking to him, and gain his trust before I could slip the lead over his head to take him out into the yard. Upon returning back to his run, I had to loosen the lead so that when he went into his run, I could quickly take the lead off of him before he would have a chance to turn his head and snap at me.... read more

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Country Comfort Kennels & Camp For Pets?

The most challenging aspect of my job would have been handling multiple dogs at one time. There were a few families who were boarding at least three (3) dogs at one time and the owners wanted the dogs to be in a play yard together. One of the families have a great dane who boarded with 2 smaller dogs. Trying to get these 3 dogs out to the play yard all at once proved to be difficult at time. How would you describe what you did at Country Comfort Kennels & Camp For Pets?

I interacted and provided companionship with pets on a daily basis by walking and/or playing with them in the outdoor exercise yards. I provided feed to the dogs and/or cats on a daily basis. I disinfected individual pet accommodations and kennel daily. I bathed and groomed dogs when needed.
