CourtLink became the leading provider of electronic access and filing to and from the nation's courts, with close to 2 million pages being electronically filed and served per month, and access to more than 200 million records in over 4,000 federal, state and local courts.
The following achievements were accomplished under Craig's leadership or significant participation: - Business Development. Led or participated in the planning, development, negotiation and management of numerous corporate partnerships including several with companies having revenues exceeding $1 billion. Led or participated in the management of four corporate acquisitions and subsequent integrations of the workforces and assets. - Corporate Board and Investor Relations. Active corporate board member. Raised over $21 million in three Regulation D private placement offerings. - Strategy and Corporate Development. Recognizing greater opportunities for growth, successfully changed the business model of the Company, reducing costs and fulfilling a critical need in the market place. Revenues during the second year from the re-oriented business grew 338% over the first. The third grew 311% over the second. Grew the company from 2 to 200+ employees. - Sales and Marketing. Started and grew the sales and marketing functions ultimately splitting court content acquisition sales from end-user sales to better customize the unique sales approaches. Led the market plan/strategy development and its tactical implementation. Popular speaker in many industry forums including the American Bar Association Techshow, the National Court Technology Conference and several court technology-oriented classes held by the National Center for State Courts' Institute for Court Management. CourtLink grew to over 30,000 organizational clients including over 90% of the 250 largest law firms in the United States and over 30% of the Fortune 100 companies. Over 4,000 federal, state and local courts were part of the CourtLink network. - Information Technology Management. Managed the growth of the IT environment including the network, data communications, gateways, WAN, and the Internet. Managed IT budget in excess of $5M. - Software Development. Personally held focus groups, wrote the specifications, managed the contract programming, wrote the user documentation and managed manufacturing for the completion of CourtLink version 1.0. By the sixth release, managed a team of 14 for the development/release cycle. Continuously reviewed and improved the process....
