What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at
Cox Radio?
The toughest problem that my team had to solve was a limited promotional inventory. In the past I was able to use 2 promos an hour (time on the air that my department had to promote a concert, contest or event). Many of these promos included various clients as well. I was informed that I would now only have one promo an hours. A team that included myself, the program director and general sales manager spent countless hours looking at the promo calendar making sure we only have one promo run per hour, but what ever we already promised clients happened. Though this was a challenging task in the end we ended up working everything out....

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at
Cox Radio?
The most challenging aspects of the job was to think creativly while keeping with in the Cox Radio parameters. At Cox Radio there are many different rules that a Marketing Director must stay with in, however we are responsible for gain results for the station and our cleints through promotions that we execute....

How would you describe what you did at
Cox Radio?
At Cox Radio I was the Marketing Director for K92FM the Country format in the building. My job discription included management, creativity, leadership, out of the box thinking, customer service, budget management, client interaction, organization of promotions, concerts, festivals, overseeing web site including; overall content, timely updates, contest etc. I created external marketing campaigns that focused on our brand and placed this advertising after extensive research in order to maximize the stations exposure....

What's the secret to getting hired at
Cox Radio?
One of the most important elements a person must have in order to be employeed by Cox Radio understanding and being able to adapt with mutiple highly intelligent personalities. Understanding how one communicates and how to communicate with others is vital. Clear communications is stressed at Cox Radio. Other qualities that Cox radio seeks is self motivation, intense work ethinc, creative problem solver, team player and leader....

How would you describe what you did at
Cox Radio?
Managed a team of 10 employees including 1 full time assistant, 1 part time web producer and 8 part time promotion assistants. Developed internal and exteranal marking plans for the radio station. Organized and executed major radio station events such as, concerts, festivals and fly aways. Developed strong relationships with the radio stations clients. Teamed with sales to provide opportunities for our clients. Worked with the controller and an annual budget. Creative problem solving experience for our clients and employees. Magnage the station web site....
