How would you describe what you did at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store?

I started working for Cracker Barrel at the Grandville location as a hostess, and quickly trained in most areas of the restaurant and retail store including: server, grill cook, prep cook, back-up cook, cashier, retail sales person, skill trainer, and shift leader. After three years, I applied for a position at the Walker location. For three years, I was the Employee Training Coordinator.

My responsibilities included: various clerical duties, orientations, filing, benefits, evaluation tracking and assignments, testing for advancement, ensuring policies are followed, loss prevention, increasing morale, helping where needed, and training and scheduling the trainers. Unfortunately, the Cracker Barrel I was working at closed its doors. I was transferred back to the Grandville location as an employee working in skill positions because there was not an opening for my position at that store.
