Encouraged cooperation between local agencies caring for families, developed and utilized network of combined talents and resources to support the success of children, youth and families in home, school & community. Developed & lead the Joining Forces for Families Team, of a voluntary community-based supportive service, that workes to empower and strengthen families. Managed site facility and supervison of staff. Fund-raising, problem solving, advocacy, resource & referrals, counseling and event planning. The office is placed in a community of families living at 100% below the poverty level, open-air drug activity, ongoing gang and violenc, along with the highest bith rate in the county. As the Site Manager/Community Social Worker the role was multi-tasked and hig profile....
