Team Leader / Operator Responsibilities Safety - Responsible for cleanliness of areas to maintain a safe work environment. Responsible for meeting safety rules and guidelines, and escalation of non-conformance issues to proper personnel.
Quality - Responsible for QS-9000 data collection. Experience with dedicated gages such as flush pin, go/no-go, as well as variable electronic gages.
PPAP - Qualification of products on new machines. Dialing in machines, gaging parts, machine offsets, documentation of gages both variable and attributes and troubleshooting the machines.
Production - Responsible for completing tool changes on several machines including Rough Saginaw, Finish Saginaw, Kingsbury, Olfson, Liberty CNC, LeBlond Makino CNC, In liners, Pump Build, Front Head Snap Ring, Rear Head Switch Plug Snap Ring, Valve Plate Press, Pump Drop, Front Head Press, Bolt Torc, Pump Test, Vacuum Check, Leak Test, Plug/Oil, Wash, Coil Press, Pulley Press, Clutch Press, Weigh, Label, Inspect and Pack out and Ship, including work offsets(from gaging parts). Maintained tool change logs. Handle all operator issues, including call for maintenance support. Make model changes as required to meet customer schedules. Account for and maintain identified buffer inventory.
Maintaining Equipment - Review for leaks, malfunctions of light curtains, electric eyes, doors, air detects and other maintenance issues. Communicate issues to Skilled Trades for preventative maintenance and improved uptime.
Additional Duties - Trained Operators on all aspects of the equipment. Maintain the line, keep the line stocked, give breaks, manage inventory, make all model changes, did all calibrations & checks for QS9000. Maintain cleanliness of department. Troubleshoot machinery and called for skilled trades. Worked closely with Forman, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Assembly and PC&L to meet customer requirements. Operated several different machines including, but not limited to, Dual Port Welder, Cap & Core Machine, Seam Welders, OKK H6ML, Murata H6ML, Toyota H6ML and Service Pack (shipping and receiving).
Documentation 1987-1995 Various jobs including salesman/trainer with Moore Distributing, construction assistant with Beeman's Drywall, kitchen manager with Perkins Restaurant, manufacturing duties and grocery store experience in all departments.
