What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Dillard's?When I first started the stock room was in complete disarray in the ladies shoe dapertment so the toughest problem was sorting an order while others were working on sales coming in and out and directing them to the new changes.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Dillard's?I wsa thrown into the lions den with little training. And commision sales is very fast paced so I was never properly trained.

How would you describe what you did at Dillard's?I was very attentive to customers and the ultimately bought more from me, even though I was not flying around the department to help multiple customers like eight or nine at a time, I would help three or four. I maintained a very clean display, floor and stock room, probably more than I should ...

What's the secret to getting hired at Dillard's?Being sales driven and a hard worker who is looking to earn a little extra for doing a good job, exceptionally. Your atire is an aspect of this job so don't go in casual nice, but proffessional atire.

What's unique about working at Dillard's?You get to meet new people everyday. Some of them have wonderful stories or life experiences that they will share with you if you take the time to give them the one-on-one customer service that you should give all of your customers.

How would you describe what you did at Dillard's?Merchandised department to meet the needs of the consumer and the department. Met daiy sales goals by assisting all customers. worked in other departments when needed. Merchandised other clothing departments.

How would you describe what you did at Dillard's?I assisted many different kinds of people in the Junior Dept., I learned how to watch possible shop-lifters and how to handle the situation once they had stolen something. I also learned how to merchandise our newest items and make them look appealing to the junior customer.
