Experiences at Dollar General Store

The work, employees, and all my responsibilities, I LOVED IT ALL

when an employee wanted to walk out. I had to talk to her and figure out what was going on, then take care of that problem. Needless to say SHE STAYED!!!!!!!

Managing all of our employees, and runnung the store as the only employee for the last 3 months till we were closed down.

I ran register, did inventory, ordered store stock, did paper work, checked in vendors, handled employee, and customer complaints and their problems, I did the scheduling of hours. Also stocking shelves and planograms. Handled meetings with corporate office.

Having a good interview. Letting the company know that dedication to the store was very important to me.

Having a great attitude, a willing to take care of the customers. Being able to concentrate on keeping the store recovered while taking care of the customer who is first concern. Having a positive attitude while at work helps also makes everyone work better together.

being good at want you do. having a good personality and being able to come to work when needed. being able to help customers with a smile. putting up stock the right way and being fast .

Theres really no secret in getting hired I filled out a application and I got the job. The one secret I would say, would be to work hard and and you could move up the ladder a little bit faster than you could at some other places.
