Experiences at Drillspot

My commute is 5 minutes or less depending on if I hit the lights right. Most of us live within 15 minutes of work, while some employees live about 30 minutes away.

We go through at least one pot of coffee a day between the 9 of us that drink it. The coffee pot is almost always on and sometimes we make another pot in the afternoon. We also frequent the local coffee shop to get our daily dose of caffeine.

There are no typical days per se. Everyday our company is changing and growing to accommodate our customers needs.

The blogs are as varied as the music we listen to. We frequent news blogs, or tech blogs like gizmodo or geeksugar, as well as celebrity blogs like dlisted or Pink is the new blog.

After work we have been known to go grab a drink at happy hour, or go for a hike in the Flatirons of Boulder.

Just about everyone who works at Drillspot.com was found through the website Craigslist.org.

The music is varied from department to department. We listed to Pandora which allows us to mix it up with all of our different musical tastes. Our music ranges from pop-rock, to jazz, to techno, to soundtracks, to African music.

We work in a very casual office. That does not mean we wear sweats to work, but jeans and a t-shirt is the normal Drillspot outfit.
