Experiences at Eastman Kodak

Turning around an under-performing employee. Using the company's performance counseling guidelines, I worked 1 on 1 with the employee to develop a personal commitment plan with daily/weekly reviews. We developed the committments together giving the employee ownership.

Completing a 2 year vocational program at SUNY Delhi, and doing well on the company's apprenticeship exam.

Responsible for overseeing operations improvements and "lean manufacturing" implementation across a major division of a global enterprise. Personally worked with operations in Rochester, NY; Oakdale, MN; Windsor, CO; White City, OR; Guadalajara, Mexico; Shanghai and Xiamen, China; Chalon, France.

Kodak is a great company in transition to digital technologies. Having a background in digital printing products is a key expertese they are looking for.

I most recently redesigned ink delivery systgem for a new wide format inkjet printer requirng a systems approach to evaluate dynamic loading of carriage.
Also designed and managed the creation of carriage mounted critical measurement tooling for all small format printer platforms.

I spent much of my career managing through extensive downsizing activities. As a production leader, I was able to motivate my team to consistently higher performance levels. I networked with other managers to assure we had a place for our strongest performers AT EVERY LEVEL of the organization. I slept nights knowing I'd done the most equitable job I could in deciding who remained and who had to be let go.

I accepted a voluntary separation to relocate seek a new career path nearer my wife's family....
