How would you describe what you did at Eaton?I worked on the machine side of the plant (broach and CNC hardturn machine) until I was laid off. When I was called back I worked in the assembly department. When the company was downsizing I was moved back to the machine side (broach machine).

What's the secret to getting hired at Eaton?I was a temporary employee and if the supervisor ended up staying on, I believe I would have been hired if a position had opened up. He was happy with my work and I was very reliable and willing to learn and take on anything he threw at me.

What are the three best things about working at Eaton?The best thing is Mr. Rasnick. He took me under his wing and taught all about aircraft build and repair.

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Eaton?When I started working at Eaton the production department would by small parts ie screw, washers as needed and each builder would store them in thier tool box. I created a tool crib area that I ran for small market items and I also implemented a team that would come in once a week and refill the ...

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Eaton?Making sure that we could accomodate AOG's when they came in. AOG is Aircraft On Ground. When an aircraft in the military in grounded for service this is top priority.

What's the secret to getting hired at Eaton?At the time I was hired by Mr. Rasnick I was working for one of the packaging company that he was using. I was asked to come in and interview with him and he hired me on the spot.

How would you describe what you did at Eaton?I have held several IT positions with progressively increasing responsibility and impact. Started as an Application Development Manager, then became a Project Manager and then set up a Project Management group. I currently run the IT M&A program for the Electrical Group of Eaton.
