Experiences at Entergy

One of the most challenging aspects of my job was interacting and negotiating with external stakeholders to achieve consensus on a communications tactic or key messages.

I was a communications professional assigned to the corporate emergency planning group where I developed crisis and risk communications plans and publications for Entergy's northeast nuclear power plants

I was promoted into my last position at Entergy

* Develops manuals, procedures, statement of work and online help, and other technical documents to describe the purpose and use of network test and management software systems
* Uses departmental tools, templates, and processes to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables, and timeliness of completion
* Responsible for Network Administrator, Directory Tree Design and Help Desk Management
* Server/LAN Optimization, Hardware \ Software troubleshooting PC problems.
* Config WINS, DHCP, DNS
* Provide hardware/ software support for Storage area Network and personal computers.
* Installed a DELL SAN Setup Hard drive RAID Configurations.
* Design, install and maintain Local Area Networks and Wide Area Network infrastructure.
* Installs 100 Nortel switches and maintain 2 Routers.
* Installed and configured 16 servers
* Used Remedy to track and log Helpdesk cases
*Troubleshoot Windows XP, NT, Windows 2000 registry
* Used regedit to configures and edits Windows family registry

Project Management
* Initiated a two month-long project to upgrade 1000 PCs from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000
* Initiated a four month-long project to convert 1000 network node from token ring to Ethernet and install 100 Nortel switches, gathered business requirement, a 400 thousands dollars project....
