Fieldstone wants to get out of the residential building industry and go into land acquistion. Learn as much as you can, so you can be valuable to either Fieldstone in their new venture or to another company.

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Fieldstone Communities?

Replacing three bath tubs in a home with a very challenging homeowner. I did this by giving her a schedule of the work that would be done. Also, traveling 65 miles one way each day to the jobsite.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Fieldstone Communities?

A community with expansive soils that required many repeat repairs. The part about keeping the homeowners calm, communication and getting repairs done. Also, letting them know a permanent repair was being worked on.

Started as a temporary employee in Jan., 2001 handling a furnace recall project. The company was impressed with my work and asked me to be a regular employee.
