I believe that is helpful to know someone that works in a specific department. Focus on a specific department instead of sending your resume to just anyone that works there. It also important to be involved in extra-curriculars in your community since the Bank has strong ties to its local communities....

In my position I used my consultative skills to create education solutions for our 401(k) clients. These solutions mostly included education seminars on a variety of investment education topics. This position also required project management skills to calculate the most effective way to execute our education programs.

I also was involved in public relations through the Diversity Board where I served as Vice-Chair of the Community Board. On this board I was in charge of leading key Diversity events like the Hispanic Festival and certain internal events for minority employees....

I managed inbound telephone calls, and answered questions about bank accounts. The main part of the job was to solve customer issues arising with their accounts.

Provided administrative support to Senior Vice President and other Officers of FTPS (1990 - 1997) and up to 100 employees, including FTPS Conversion Managers and Merchant group (1997 - 2007). Duties included typing correspondence, reports, copying, faxing, scanning, scheduling meetings, mail distribution, answering telephones, ordering office supplies, and maintenance of office equipment. Coordinated various special projects as needed....

I encoded customer and teller transactions. I also worked on various types of systems to help correct out of balance work and made the corrections on those accounts.
