I worked with brokers to get loans closed. I would give product knowledge, price, lock, clear conditions, and more.

Underwrite mortgage loan applications and evaluate loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss. Monitor property appraisal process.

I worked very closely with the VP/Branch Manager of the Lending Tree department of FMFC. I kept all the financial and licensing records of the division and the loan officers. In the years leading up to this particular job I worked very hard to learn everything I could about the mortgage and accounting industry. I was learning more each day. I think the key to any career is learning....

Although First Magnus has closed it's doors and is no longer doing business, I believe that the key to getting hired at FMFC is honesty and hard work.

I started in the shipping dept and advanced throughout my seven years to Customer Service, Closing/Funding, Funding Manager for the Lending Tree division to Operations Analyst in the Lending Tree division. I audited and reconciled monthly profit and loss statements. Monitored for negative and positive trends and recommended corrective actions, as appropriate, audited and monitored General Ledger account, audited and balanced all accounts payable/receivable and petty cash, prepared and reviewed monthly branch revenue report, prepared monthly sales bonus/commission statements for 40+/- loan officers, monitored and maintained branch and loan officer state licensing in all states, updated daily phone logs, I worked directly for the VP/Branch Manager, who additionally assigned special projects in the accounting field. In the funding dept I did alot of data entry into a loan tracker system to upload loan documents to the title companies and/or attorney's office, trained new employees, compiled mortgage information for new manuals, managed a team of customer service representitives, who answered incoming customer calls, we had a property tax and hazard insurance payment dept, and opened and distributed incoming mail....
