Experiences at Floyd Medical Center

I delivered some medical files to the pharmacy which was located on the bottom floor. I decided to stop by the restroom on my way back to my floor ( still on bottom floor ), I saw noone when I entered the restroom, but I had a crazy feeling like I wasn't alone. I decided to look under the stalls and I saw noone. I opened a couple stalls, noone. I opened the third door and a lady bum was curled up across the toilet sleeping. It scared me to death, so I nevered got to use the bathroom. Security escorted her out in a polite manner. They said it wasn't the first time this has happened. Now I use the private bathroom on my floor only....

Your job depends on you no matter what. A hospital is 24/7. Working at Floyd I gained a family of my own and a family of a sterile environment. Everyone is great no matter what. I learned how to put traction together for injuried patients. I worked nights and my coworkers depended on me as a team leader. The equipment was very challenging and heavy, but with me being a female I didn't let it stop me....
