Experiences at Forrester Research

Knowing someone at Forrester -- my brother. Forrester's philosophy is that you hire via internal referrals. In that way, the candidate is pre-screened for you. Forrester people are likely inquisitive about their world, love interacting with people, work very hard, and just love having fun. Forresterites (as they are called) likely like to hang out with those types of people too. Empoloyee referrals therefore will understand the work hard culture and match the overall profile. Though I'm no longer at Forrester, I still think of it as a home of sorts. I keep in touch with friends who still work there as well as other friends who have gone on to do other things. It's a very supportive network of people who love ideas and sharing those ideas....
