What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Fuddruckers?

There was one night that I had to run the store with only three other employees. The night was extremely busy and there was so much to do but no staff to do it with. I had four people doing the job of 8 or 9. We were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. That day was not only exhausting but stressful. That night a lot of customers left the store upset, but my staff that night did a amazing job. If i had another crew i don't think i could've handle it. I was extremely proud of them, I still am.... read more

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Fuddruckers?

The most challenging aspect about being a supervisor at Fudds was dealing with unhappy customers. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try you cannot make some customers happy. That was hard on me because I am a very friendly person and I love to see other people happy. So, when a customer is not happy despite everything that I do I feel bad. I hate to see a customer leave the restaurant knowing they had a unhappy experience.... read more

How would you describe what you did at Fuddruckers?

I began as a GSA (Guest Services Associate) and buser. Being a GSA was fun. I was able to put smiles on our customer's face and get to know them. Then when they come into the restaurant again they remember you and you remember them. I had several customers that asked for me when they came in and it made me feel good. After a few months i was trained to be in the bakery. The bakery was always busy but time flew. The bakery was rewarding because i was able to talk with the kids that came into the resaturant. Making a child happy after giving them their cookie made me happy. Being on the register was my next task. It was a little hard at first but i mastered it. I actully began to train people on the register once i got it down pact. Teaching fellow employess how to exceed at register was one of the best experience that I had at Fuddruckers. After learning the line and prep the last step was being a supervisor. Thats were I ended up. I became the Supervisor in May of 2007. There was alot of responsibilities than I thought. I was the closing supervisor so it seemed like more weight was put on my shoulders. However, I was able to do it. I was in charge of the store being clean and ready for the following morning, counting the drawers, putting the deposit in the safe and locking up. Sometimes it was hard but I learned a great deal and I was glad that I was able to become a supervisor.... read more
