Experiences at FutureTrade Technologies

For the 1st 4 years, I supported the sales staff in a number of locations accross the country in addition to 35 people here in Lake Forest. This included MS Applications VPN, LAN & wireless conectivity, and other desktop applications in addition to running the support desk. I also supprted the New York office data center remotely in addition to bringing the new office online several years ago from the groud up. I was resonicible for cell phones, blackberries and teleconferencing in addition to email support.

During the last 2 years, I was responcible for all aspects of the IT operation including the data center with 22 racks, 150 Win2k3 and Linux serversat this location, including testing of the 1500 KVA generator supporting 2 buildings on this campus....

It would be hard at the moment because the were purchased by another company about 2 yease ago and have just closed the Lake Forest office. WHen I was hired, it was because of the combination of Telecomm and Desktop Support experience. For the last 18 months, I was the sole IT person taking care of all Telecomm, Data Center and Desktop support....
