In this high-profile position, my duties included Windows, Exchange Server, Solaris, and NetWare installation/troubleshooting/admin, and LAN support for GE clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. My administrator duties included acting as liaison between customers, partner companies, and sales/implementation staff at client sites. I also performed many duties not directly technical, notably product purchasing/evaluation, site analysis, and proposal writing/negotiation process. At TPN Register, I performed the initial implementation of their NT/Solaris main office, and remote offices in Las Vegas and Atlanta. I managed the transition from a single ISDN connection to a multiple T1 infrastructure. I monitored and maintained their multiple high-bandwidth connections to remote staging servers, development groups, management groups, partner companies, customers, and the Internet. I maintained their Intranet staging servers running Netscape Enterprise Server and Microsoft Internet Information Server. I was the webmaster of their Intranet and provided updates and internal staging for their sales, accounting, QA, and management departments. Lastly, I aided their transition to a permanent I.T. staff. I provided lead technical, timelines, staffing requirements, QA guidelines, and rollout schedules for the GEICO proposal. In addition to the long-term assignments, I provided short-term solutions and Y2K readiness duties for Seagram's, Marriott, Chevy Chase Bank, American Tower Systems, and the NFL. I was the leading revenue-gathering S.E. for the mid-Atlantic area for three consecutive years, and one of my Windows Server solutions was showcased in a 1998 issue of InternetWeek....
