I think that having a specific skill will get you in the door, but you will fair much better with good intergerty, and treating people the way that you would like to be treated.

I am a welder and am presently in the postion of Safety Coordinator. As a Coordinator, I am responsible for the safety training of 110 personnel. I also work at resolving any safety related issues and work with vendors to make sure that my people have the right tools/equipment for their job.

On an exective level, one must be fluent in English and have very good communication skills to begin with. It is also important, at all levels, to demonstrate hands-on initiative, self-confidence, absolute integrity and carrer growth potential.
