Experiences at Georgia State University

I received a master's degree in Taxation.

Courses taken on movement of the body, bones in the body and the path that air takes once inside of the body.

Studies included but were not limited to the following accomplishments: conducted an independent research project on the Sacred Harp singing tradition in Georgia. Worked with a team to develop design guidelines for the Adair Park neighborhood in Atlanta. Documented oral history of the Public House in Roswell. Worked as part of a 12-member team that developed and implemented the exhibition Rich's: the Store that Married a City at the Sam Nunn Federal Building in downtown Atlanta, which was the recipient of the Student Project Award from the National Council on Public History. Worked as part of a team to create design guidelines for the Atlanta neighborhood of Adair Park, which were subsequently accepted into use. Also worked with another fellow student on constructing a National Register nomination for the African-American campus of the Georgia School for the Deaf. I have learned about working with other people from totally different walks of life. I love Georgia State because it is so diverse. Georgia State University is everything I wished for in a school.

Expanded and continued knowledge of data communications.
Covered state-of-the-art network standards, digital signal processing.
Curriculum stressed theory and foundations in data structures, operating systems, databases and networks.

Maintained 3.8 average while completing core curriculum and extra.
