After 10 years in Drug Discovery at big pharma as a Senior Scientist, the late stage Drug Development processes of Regulatory and Medical Writing, in addition to Clinical and Drug Safety documentation greatly interests me.

At one point I supported 3 Directors and 90 a staff of 90. This was where I learned to do multi-tasking.

My daughter worked there at the time and she was able to find this position and fax to me. I sent my application and resume in and received an interview and was hired.

Assisted in developing research studies to assess humanistic and economic impact of oral antidiabetic medications.

Reviewed and evaluated proposals submitted by external consultants /CROs/ Third parties.

Collaborated with various teams like Product Team, Clinical Strategy Team, Medication
Information, Epidemiology Team to obtain valuable inputs on fulfilling the objectives of the study and the needs of the organization.

Analyzed nationally representative data and combined-states' Medicaid data using STATA 9.0 and SAS 9.1.

Continued responsibilities include submitting research abstracts to American Diabetes Association, and preparing a manuscript describing the research project and results.
