When I first started at Hewitt in 1998, I helped implement the background checking. It was a very interesting project, but very stressful. There were many days when I worked many hours to implement this project. It was rewarding to see the outcome of the project. During the years, I have helped implement new criteria to the background checks. I have been working with background checking until I left Hewitt 3/09....

*Worked independently processing Third Party Requests (TPR).

*Responsible for researching pension and health and welfare information for subpoenas.

*Reviewed and analyzed Power of Attorneys.

*Verified participants' income and medical benefits.

*Worked with client attorneys, participant attorneys, and Hewitt Attorneys to handle legal issues.

*Updated and reviewed process and procedures for third party requests.

I was responsible for data entry for many different clients that had anywhere between 1500 and 5000 employees. I sent out mass mailings for these same clients. I was also responsible for monthly billing statements for some of these same clients.

Provided RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) services to Bank of Montreal. Supported T&S (Technology & Solutions) organization.

Calculated, administered, and served as subject matter expert for pension benefits. Researched and responded to escalated calls for immediate resolution. Reviewed and responded to ERISA claims related to Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans for client. Counseled client employees on benefit plans.

* Collaborated with client's Benefits and Compensation Director and Plan Administrators to address or resolve ERISA claims.

* Led team of associates, and conducted classroom training on retirement and administrative procedures for client teams.

* Recommended and implemented changes to administrative processes.

Responsible for managing multiple teams of associates and Project Managers for six different clients across Human Resources Outsourcing. Manage projects and project leaders, developing budgets, coordinating staffing and assignments based individual skill-sets, and assessing future staffing needs for various projects. Served as a Subject Matter Expert, coaching other managers on benefit plans, Career Development, Performance Assessments, Team Staffing and Structure; coaching across the line of business on People Management, and functional Training Programs. Interview potential candidates for various roles.

* Created and implemented new training structure and program for a $75 million client with over one million participants that resulted in a 27% increase in Customer Satisfaction Scores and a 13% decrease in escalated issues.

* Consulted with Human Resources, Practice Leaders and Workforce Operations Leaders on consolidating employee data and documentation systems to save the firm $1.1 million on technology and administration costs.

* Analyzed and created new staffing structure for an outsourcing client team that generated over $26 million for Hewitt, reducing cost by 25%.

* Resolved repeated discrepancies impacting 20% of plan participants in benefit election and payments processing. Eliminated 100% of election errors, and saved more than $36,000 annually in unnecessary mailing costs....
