Experiences at Hewlett Pacakard/Manpower

The most challenging aspects of my job was motivating 30-40 employees to work as a team to accomplish the goal of meeting the daily production output. Another challenge of my job was identifying and counselling problem employees.

I began working on an assembly line where I was part of a team that added components to, and prepped and shipped various personal and network printers. When I became a supervisor, I was directly responsible for the operation of an assembly line that processed printers. I was responsible for personnel, training, administrative, employee evaluations and the overall day-to-day operations....

There was no secret to getting hired at Hewlett Packard/Manpower. I got hired through Manpower, which is a temporary staffing company. I simply answered an add in the newspaper, and went to Manpower and filled out an application. The original position was for an assembly line operator, which I was hired for. I eventually worked my way up to the position of Supervisor....
