Experiences at Hewlett Packard Company

The secret that got me hired at HP is quite interesting. HP came to my college for an interview mixer in my junior year looking for permanent hires. I saw this as an opportunity to talk to the reqruiters about a possible internship. After networking with one of the requiters, I requested an interview with him. The following day he interviewed me and liked what he saw. He was impressed with my go-getter attitude and the fact that I was only one of two juniors who had the foresight enough to pursue an internship with HP. My internship blossomed into almost 2 decades with one of the greatest companies around....

I held several positions at HP, most recently as a project manager in the Production Acceptance team. I led projects of varied complexity involving mergers and acquistions, software and hardware support and support planning.

* Lead lab test technician throughout testing cycle in performing qualification activities such as System Integration test execution, defect submittal and problem analysis.
* Designed, developed and documented of MFP tests.
* Created, modified and converted of Python scripts to maintain test automation both at the functional and system level.
* Measured and analyzed test result to generate daily report on testing performance to internal customers.
* Worked from the requirements definition phase to develop detailed test strategies and test plans for software releases.
* Analyzed root cause of failure and escalated the issue to appropriate level.....

I am responsible for designiing and architecting solutions for HP's enterprise e-commerce applications as part of the Architecture group.

Not knowing how many BOMs will need to be built and also addressing the emails of missing parts and also the clock, delays in software on the network.

Proactively addressing all customer delays in orders or parts of orders to customers. Updating part descriptions, costs and BOMs. Receiving in returned parts as well.

I found my first job at HP at an on-campus interview. I knew what they were looking for before they came so I focused working on the kinds of hardware that they sold beforehand. they liked it and after 20 years they finally had enough of me and eliminated my job.
