What's the best team you worked with at Hewlett Packard?

My time as part of the Office Depot Account Team was amazing. What a talented group of peers and managers. We were close, like a family, yet professional. We grew the business for HP and our customer (Office Depot) significantly and profitably.

Throughout my time with HP, change has been one of the most challenging aspects. HP is constantly striving to be the best in class. To do this, things must change. I have embraced those changes and developed my own skills as a result.

How would you describe what you did at Hewlett Packard?

- Dramatically improved poor service provided to HP's B2B partners by managing the development of the B2B Portal which produced $786 million in revenue and 89,000 B2B partners using the Portal to communicate directly with key service providers within HP.
- Developed small three person team of
developers by making hire and fire decisions, managing 300k budget, managing overall timeline of project and resource allocation resulting in the team growing to seven developers and project managers who were responsible for developing an application once utilized by 2,000 users to over 89,000 users worldwide.
- Improved a slow and cumbersome development model by implementing a smaller and more efficient process to deliver projects to HP business partners that saved $150,000 annually in release process costs and reduced the turnaround time on development from three months to one month.

How would you describe what you did at Hewlett Packard?

Responsible for all technical aspects of HP's Corporate Materials Management Data Center. Corporate Materials Management is a centralized procurement group with responsibility for purchasing parts and materials used by HP's worldwide divisions. It encourages HP divisions to design products using HP qualified parts from qualified vendors.
The Center's Materials Analysis and Contracting System (MACS) was used by five geographically dispersed organizations for contracting components on a company-wide basis.
Data center was ranked number one for efficiency in the entire company.
