I manage the consumer semiconductor program for leading market research firm IDC. I research, forecast and analyze the markets for chips used in digital TV, set-top boxes, DVD players & recorders, digital still & video cameras, video games, compressed audio players & portable video, homeNAS, and home networking. I forecast and analyze volumes, pricing, competitive environment, trends, market share and indepth technology trends. I study the entire value chain, from IP suppliers to chip suppliers, software to end product. My primary goal is to analyze the how, when and why driving change in my industry, and educate my audience so they react in the best way possible for their business. My specialty is emerging markets and players, and I thrive on providing world class client service.
