I learned how to start taking my artistic ability seriously.

Taught first-year composition courses: composed syllabus, selected readings, designed and graded all writing assignments. Assisted with first- and second-year literature courses: lectured, led discussion sections, designed and graded all writing assignments, graded exams.

Managed day-to-day operations of major interdisciplinary cultural studies journal (Victorian Studies). Edited, proofread, and prepared manuscripts for publication; directed correspondence with authors and readers; trained and oversaw editorial assistant and undergraduate intern.

I would say that I truley gained out of college what all students should. Not only did I become a more educated academic individual, but I was socailly active and a advocate for the advancement of my peers as well as my temporary community. In college I learned that you need to do what you love. I realized that I have a natural gift to put others at ease and to lead through service and listening. College also taught me to lead my life and not let it lead me.

I graduated from Indiana University this past May with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs. My major was management with a concentration in nonprofit management/development.
