focused services for public and private clients specifically in tax, audit, and risk management.

QA Analyst

* Worked extensively on the MyClient Navigator and TeamFind, Lotus Notes projects and Acceptance and Continuance .NET project that encompassed PwC's computer based audit and risk management tools.
* Co managed the automation testing effort for the PwC Dallas office.
* Developed automated scripts using WinRunner and Quick Test Professional that saved 200 hours of testing per QA cycle by the deployment of files to the servers and testing basic functionalities of the applications.
* Performed data driven testing using parameterization in WinRunner and Quick Test Professional for the deployment of files and creation of engagement audit data.
* Developed scripts to populate audit data such as deliverables, lead schedules and working papers for MyClient files used in the QA testing cycle.
* Created baseline scripts that effectively performed smoke testing to verify the stability and sanity of the application.
* Assisted with setting up the build including internationally deploying files across territories for use by the testing team
* Ran PL/SQL scripts to populate test data on the backend Oracle tables.
* Created test cases in Test Director using existing use cases and requirements documents.
* Installed Mercury automation tools in designated machines.
* Set up user test machines based on configurations approved by management.
* Provided regular status reports to management on tasks completed.
* Contributed to the document created for the establishment of standards and procedures for automation.
* Used regression testing to manually test the application repeatedly across several QA environments and scenarios till the product was released.
* Reported and tracked defects in Test Director including following up with developers till a satisfactory resolution was reached.
* Trained PwC staff in using WinRunner and Quick Test Professional including following proper standards of scripting such as the use of descriptive programming in scripts.
* Created user friendly technical help documents on running the automation tools and executing the automated scripts.
