Experiences at Innovative Flooring

Freedom. No boss yelling at you. Flexibility. Being able to take care of personal chores whenever i need to. Money. With no middleman (aka boss) i make the money he would be making. Pride. I have the pride of ownership, that the company and the work that it produces is all mine.

Taxes maybe? They are such a pain. A lot of paperwork, a lot of organization. Satisfying clients can at times be very difficult. Hiring is very hard. I have had little success with those that I have hired. Many don't have the ethic or heart to do this trade. Time management and discipline is deffinetly at the top of the list. I cannot slack of, take days of, overspend, etc. I have to stay ontop of it all to make progress....

running your own business is challenging. Balancing work with getting more work is hard. I have to put in long days to get jobs done to the customers satisfaction, and still get to other sites to give new bids. I have to balance the budget, pay for everything and take full responsibility for my work. I love the freedom, and don't mind the headaches. I am positive that i will see growth in the coming year....

Innovative Flooring is my first business. I am responsible for everything. I advertise, bid jobs, design jobs, work with builders, contractors, designers, etc. I install all my jobs as well. I can do just about any type of work dealing with floors, counters, showers, tubs, walls, etc. I do tile, slabs, glass block, and whatever else is thrown at me....
