What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Innovex?

Some of the client's sales reps felt threatened by my presence in their accounts.
It was crucial to establish my role and assist them to be open minded and consider the added value of promoting my services to their accounts. Explaining that the prescribers' appreciation for the reps bringing in

How would you describe what you did at Innovex?

I provided clinical sales expertise. Partnering with the Innovex clients' sales force reps allowed awesome educational resources to be made available to the practices called on. 'No see' offices were often receptive to my presence which in turn resulted in allowing the reps face to face time with the prescribers. The prescribers are excited to discuss clinical aspects, use, benefits and outcomes of products with an experienced, credible resource that is often not 'interested in just selling them something'. They latched on to the oppportunity to provide additional education to their patients. The prescribers took advantage of educating themselves as well. I was looked to as a knowledgable, experienced, clinical education specialist in diabetes relating to the product, device and care and treatment of diabetes. It was a win-win environment. It was 'sales' through education, passion to improve outcomes, persuasion of effectiveness of the product with impact on patient outcomes and credibilty as a clinician.... read more
