Experiences at Insight Global

As far as interanal employees are concerned, you need a fantastic attitude and be ready to work. They are looking for type A people who are willing to do what it takes to help out the customers. As far as contractors, it depends on the skill set that Insight Global is recruiting for their customers. Ultimatley they want someone who is at the top of there Technical Field and someone with great communication. They know the contractors happiness is what equals success and will do whatever necessary to help out their employees. I would recomend Insight Global to work at as a contractor and as an internal employee....

Being A type personality helps. Be outgoing and smile, typical sales organization. The work you put in is what you get back.

Just keep calling in and seeing if anything is available. I've learned that staffing agencies can't control when and what type of positions they get in, so one day they might have something for me and the next time they've got nothing. I've had a fantastic experience with Insight Global. They always kept me in the loop and it seems unlike the rest of you a very sharp recruiter/account manager combo. A great company to work with!...

They really do treat their contractors like crap, but I do find it interesting that more people dont view them as a cancer like people on this board. The owner is a guy named Glenn Johnson and he is a real tool. I made a sales pitch to Glenn only for him to talk to me like I am a moron for the next 20 minutes. I dont know how anyone would want to work for that company and that man....

Been working we them for about 1 and a half now. My feeing about these guys is, I don't ever want to work for these guys again. I have never had to stay on top of an agency in order to get paid. My first five weeks working there I didn't get paid. I was upset but didn't think to much about this. Now over a year later I'm still having problems. My advice, don't work here but if you must keep track & snapshot or print out your online timesheets and faxsheets....

The place is a chop-shop. Straight boiler room operation. Greater than 50% annual turnover company-wide. They take about half of their contractors' hourly wages (yes, they make as much as the ppl. doing to actual work) and treat internal employees even worse.
Stay away -- after I left I discovered that there are legitimate staffing companies around, just not this one......

Employed as an onsite contract software test lead for teams encompassing offshore and onsite development and testing efforts. Additionally am currently acting as a knowledge expert on active development methodologies, quality assurance engineering, and configuration management.

Keep putting your resume in, and keep updating your job experience on it. I always try to have a good attitude at interviews, and to show my strengths toward the interviewer.

persistance, keep putting your resume and going to the interviews. Bosses like a good employee, especially one who doesn't quit.
