How would you describe what you did at Jobby?I was the official logo for gojobby.com, a tag based resume search and skills tracking web 2.0 application. Jobby was acquired by Jobster in 2006, so you can't see my logo skills demonstrated anymore, but I'm still around, doing this and that.

What's one thing you would like to change at Jobby?Well, we've been acquired-- I'm not sure I'd change anything. But, if I were to go back in time, I'd love to have a little pile of angel funding. Considering what we were able to create in our off-time, I would've loved to see what we coulda pulled off in 6 months of full work-weeks.

What do people wear to work at Jobby?Anything from biz clothes to bathrobes. Jobby was a moonlight affair (we didn't quit our day jobs), so we worked some pretty peculiar hours.

What's the funniest thing that ever happened to you at Jobby? We picked a code name for the project (Jobby) and (without researching it), launched with it. It turns out that "Jobby" has a VERY different meaning in the UK. On the upside, it got us a helluva lot of press and eyeballs.

What are the three best things about working at Jobby?1) The crazy speed that you get with a small team of talented and driven people who AREN'T working for money. 2) Absolute control over what's being created, though the absolute responsibility for any failure is pretty heavy. 3) Having meetings at Bernie's Bungelow Lounge.

What's the funniest thing that ever happened to you at Jobby? At the end of our interview at Jobster, Jason Goldberg asked us what we thought about the people we met. I immediately said I was very impressed and that if we weren't going to be a part of Jobster we'd have to try to recruit some of his people. He grinned at me and said "good f'ing luck." ...
