Experiences at Keene State College

Learned about child development through theory and in classroom training.

I threw myself into student activities and how to better enrich student life on campus. I held the role of Concert Coordinator for two years with the Social Activities Council. That experience led me to become President of the group my senior year. I was also a member of the Student Assembly as a Junior and Senior class Representative. The Assembly was the main forum for anybody whose decisions would affect students to speak at. Any discussion and planning involving course work, expansions, staff hirings, student trips, budgets, etc. were brought to the Assembly to discuss and try to find improvements. It was a huge responsibility, as was President of SAC where I was in charge of a budget over $100,000....
