Experiences at Knox College

Delved into many art media, learning about visual communication, color theory, drawing and art history, along with the liberal arts skills of research, history, learning, philosophy, writing, and a touch of anthropology and sociology. I broadened my ability to make learning a life long pursuit.

Pursuing a B.S in Computer Science.

The people. Once you graduate, the friends that have lived within 5 minutes of each other for 4 years are now scattered across the country, and even though we live in an age where instant messaging and email are the norm, staying in touch gets hard. Not seeing someone every day totally changes your relationship, no matter how hard you try to keep it the same....

While at Knox I studied biochemistry with the intent of pursuing a career in laboratory research. I took required major courses in methods, metabolism and so forth and electives in immunology and molecular biology, as well as pursuing other electives in areas as diverse as microeconomics, social inequalities, and philosophy. I was a member of sevearal Division III athletic teams including wrestling and track, a member of the joint school/community band, and active in my fraternity, as well as serving part time in the National Guard....
