Experiences at Kohl's Department Stores

I presented myself with confidence because of previous retail experience and my belief in honesty made me an ideal candidate for the jewelery dept.

One has to be very confident and knowing what you about. Kohl's is all about team player and provide outstanding customer service. One has to be reliable, responsible, independent and be strong minded.

The secret is to show initiative, and exemplify superior customer service experiences to the public. To have a tenacity for the goals that are set for the day ahead.

I think it's a combination of things. First, you must possess customer service experience and great communication skills. Second, you must have an open availability to commit to scheduled hours. Third, you should be able to work within a team and be able to get along with others.

o Support four executives: providing them with required update information and assisting with a variety of special projects.
o Assist in inventory control: ensure that any related paperwork for inventory control is accurately done and within required timeframe.
o Assist in recruiting; maintain employee personnel files: ensure accurate completion of initial new hire paper work and maintenance of employee files.
o Office support: Processed payroll, ordered office supplies, and miscellaneous other duties.
o Schedule all departments weekly: To ensure all schedules were post with the weekly store budget....

I assist in setup of the new store. I unload and process merchandise. I also done early morning recovery; and done ad-set.

All through then entire Christmas/thanksgiving/return season I worked a register. I loved it. It was so busy. I love to stay busy. I really enjoyed my time there. But after january, they started hiring more people and telling the prior employees they didnt have enough hours. So I left.
