What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Lear Corporation-Atlanta (Closed)?

Keeping associates aligned with constant change. We averaged 500 plus engineering changes over the first 3 years. New materials, components and assembly processes kept managers and associates focused. Union facilities can at times push back as a single entity when constant changes in requirements upset the balance of the workforce.... read more

How would you describe what you did at Lear Corporation-Atlanta (Closed)?

Fun and challenging. This was union facility tasked with start-up in 2.5 months with no facility. We started in a warehouse and transitioned our temporary equipment into the new facility as production was ongoing. We management and associates bonded well because everyone was stressing together. Management worked 14-18 hours daily. We did not receive a quality notice (poor delivery/product) for 4 consecutive years.... read more

What's the secret to getting hired at Lear Corporation-Atlanta (Closed)?

Company fit and need. This was a new start-up. I had the right amount of industry experience, specifically seating interiors and had supervised and engineered products aligned with interior components.
