The toughest problem to solve at Lord & Taylor was getting people to buy gift cards and extra items.

Dealing with customers in a high end store that always expected to get to use a coupon was a big challenge. I don't think it's ever really easy to nice to people who expect too much, but when if it's my job I'll do it.

What I did at Lord & Taylor was hard work in some departments and pretty easy in others. Of course every day and customer is different. It was monotonous at times too.

Showing I had the experience, and having a professional appearance helped me get the job

I processed all sales exchanges and returns in various areas of the department store. I also took in stock, organized the sales floor and set up displays
