How would you describe what you did at Lowes Companies?

I was in charge of the Outside Lawn and Garden department and it's crew. Completed weekly departmental inventory counts. Assisted in hiring and training of all my departmental members. Worked on computer, inventory management, cash register, fork lift truck, and other equipment, customer service and constant implementation of new programs from store manager. Managed the entire store a few times when upper managers were in meetings. Also ran Inside Lawn and Garden department. Trained several associates to be department managers. Trained associates to operate the different inventory stocking equipment. Recieved inventory and unloaded merchandise trucks. Took testing and successfully completed training for the next level of management.... read more

load/unload trucks, forklift,palletjacks experience. Performed all receiving inventory and input on computer. Used scanners. Did customer service with home owners and customers.

Customer service/returns desk while managing employees in
assigned area. Follow corrective action policy; ensure appropriate
documentation is placed in employee files. Ensure employees are
counseled under direction of
appropriate manger. Research discrepancies from cash registers, bank corrections and bank deposits. Ensure accurate balancing of transactions and receipts. Organize daily business folder for review.
