At MSU-CHI I worked with the marketing team which was made up of myself and two other Michigan State students. The marketing team was responsible for many things, including contacting local newspapers and magazines for advertisment space, setting up displays in local businesses, and informing the MSU community about the upcoming event....

Michigan State University has a great online career center that has up to date postings of new jobs and internships in the area and also national jobs, which is how I found this internship opportunity.

Ask lots of questions. As an intern I regret not getting the most out of my experience because I was scared to ask too many questions. It's important to do some things on your own and use your own mind, but it is also important to gain feedback from employees that you might not otherwise get if you do not ask....
