Experiences at Macrovision Solutions

I had worked with one of the co-founders of the company and became friends with many of the primary contributors to the company's early success including founder and Chairman of the Board John Ryan, and CEO Bill Krepick. When it came to for my friend at Macrovision to retire, I was available and the job was mine. Even though I started at Macrovision in 2004, I had been working and visiting their site since 2000, so many folks
already knew me as if I were an employee. The key to getting hired at Macrovision was more about being liked and likable; after all, this was a customer-facing role. Being a quick learner was next most important thing and I had learned their technology prior to applying for the job....
