Experiences at Mayslick Lighthouse Church

There is no secret to getting hired at the Lighthouse. We are not hired, we are appointed by God. God lead me to the Lighthouse 6.5 years ago as a guest, I thought. No one but the person I came with knew I was a Gospel Singer. But when I met Bro Danny at the door he asked me if I was gonna sing for them that night, I gave him a funny look like who told you. He laught and said he saw the tapes in my bag. I loved having the opportunity to share God's Word through music and was Honored to be asked to be apart of their service. The Lighthouse became my Home Church. In the 6.5 years since I first came I've seen many, many changes both in the Church and myself. I personal was inspired to rededicate my life to a fuller service in the Lord and start The Sisters In Christ Nursing Home Gospel Ministry. Learn to play guitar and join the Praise & Worship Team. I found a part of me without God and the Mayslick Lighthouse Family I may never have found. I've had the priviledge to watch young boys and girls grow into young adults hungry to serve the Lord and become Group Leaders in the Church.
I have served in and been part of Churches in several States in the last 20 years, but I've never have expirienced the fire, and hunger I have found here. For the first time in my life I allowed the Lord to place me in the Church He wanted me in instead of roaming around searching on my own unfulfilled. Here I get fed everytime I come and leave wanting more and wish every night was Church night. At the Lighthouse we aren't hired we are anointed and appointed, and Love Serving the Lord....

Restructured the Youthgroup, organized youth activities/events/services, visited & stayed in constant communication with older and newer youth group members as well as unchurched to bring them in.
