How would you describe what you did at Metaldyne?

*Direct Production, Quality Control, Maintenance operations, stock inventories, tooling inventory control, process change, personnel oversight and SPC and press set-up operations.
*Use Lean Manufacturing methods to lead productivity improvements and cost reductions.
*Coordinate manpower and
material flow, drive "best practices", troubleshoot and problem solve to ensure optimum productivity.
*Develop, train, assist, and advise personnel.

Accomplishments:
*Designed and planned manufacturing processes for a new product launch of transmission shafts.
*Installed multiple CNC finished-turning centers and oversaw all Preventative Maintenance for the new product launch.
*Increased productivity by 15% reprocessing operator assist systems, implementing anti-fatigue systems, and redesigning coolant containment systems.
*Reduced press change-over losses by 50% through operational procedure revisions on press lines.
