My time there was a great experiance to be able to be apart of a team of great people that showed the virtue of putting Customes first in helping them making sure their problems and issues were solved with great priorty, and to be able to move accounts fome the company to different accounts wer on a timely bases.... read more

How would you describe what you did at Metavante?

Current responsibilities:
* Direct and lead application development teams in implementing product enhancements - both client-driven and strategic initiatives for a product suite that generated nearly $110 million in revenue in 2006. Applications range from desktop support tools to online
transactional web-sites supporting millions of transactions per day. Application environments are based on Oracle database and utilize a wide range of programming technologies and concepts.
* Resource management responsibility for three application development teams encompassing development, quality assurance and production support. Total team is over 45 resources in the U.S plus another 25 resources in India.
* Work with sales team to develop customized solutions for prospective clients.
* Collaborate with product management to help drive product innovation.

Past responsibilities:
* Led the expansion of the product's electronic bill offering by over 250% in a 12 month period. Resulted in a tripling of total electronic bill volume. Expedited development timeline by utilizing a mix of on-site and off-shore development resources.
* Facilitated the closure of a development facility at acquired company site. Team at closed site represented about 40% of development staff. Managed transition of development responsibilities to staff at corporate development center without adversely impacting product release schedule. Led expansion of teams at corporate development center with hiring and training as well as by redefining roles and responsibilities.
* Project manager responsible for a professional services team of 5 developers and QA within the Electronic Presentment & Payment group. Responsibilities included project planning, technical oversight, client interaction and invoicing. Increased team's billable utilization from under 70% to over 90% by improving resource assignment and more efficient project planning.

It's pretty casual, but not lazily so. You can wear a suit if you want, or a polo or something in between. Not usually Jeans, but sometimes.
