Experiences at Michigan Center for Public Health Preparedness (MI-CPHP) -Bioterrorism

- Trained in disaster management for the MI-CPHP. Courses in epidemiologic methods for emergency response, psychosocial issues related to bioterrorism, and effects of chemical agents on public health.

- Field training in mass casualty emergency response; participated in tabletop exercise "Perfect Game".

- Interacted with federal, state and local public health and EMS agencies to coordinate emergency response plans. Disseminated public heath bioterrorism plans to local community and business leaders.
