Went through my Bachelor's in three years. Set out with expedience as my goal. Graduated with a 3.5 with my major in English and cognates in French and Anthropology. Worked as a Mentor (Resident Adviser) the last two years of my stay at MSU where I learned valuable skills such as listening and the necessity for fair and impartial judgment; skills necessary for a leader to succeed in the corporate world....

I started out in the James Madison College of Social Sciences, on what was basically a pre-law track. I decided that this was not for me, and after a brief stint in Advertising, switched to Interior Design. I had always loved art, architecture and art history and found that this was a great way to combine my love of studying them in a creative and productive way. I would have to say the highlight of my college career was going on study abroad the summer after junior year to Italy to study the art and architecture of the Northern part of the country (Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan) and then going on after to Paris and London. The ID program and MSU is FIDER accredited, so it therefore can compete with any other program in the country, while also providing me with a broader education that MSU requires....

I took classes not only in English, but also Japanese, Political Science, Professional Writing, History, Social Studies, and Science.

I am studying here currently to become a teacher, I am expanding my knowledge base about how people learn.

I had a great first year of university, but I jumped for the opportunity to move to the West Coast!
