What did you learn along the way at Milwaukee Area Techncial College?

The Milwaukee Area Technical College is one of the best college in the midwest, and in Milwaukee. It has connecetions to businesses, and UW School System. One example relates to the printing industry. In 1996, I came to MATC (as it's called here) to start my college education all over again. Previously, I went to ITT Technical Institute between 1995 and 1996, in the Computer Aided Drafting Program. Sadly, I left ITT in 1996 because of my decision to look for other colleges. Plus, one thing I noticed about ITT Tech that it didn't provide pre-college training that helps you to get into the major of your choice. Milwaukee Area Technical College has this option for all students. Plus, I heard that people whom go into ITT and dropped out, had "angry experiences".

Getting back to the printing and publishing major, I learned all the aspects of printing ranging from prepress, desktop publishing, bindery, customer service, estimating, and special projects. MATC also provided me with assistance of finding a job, and further stretch my education. Although the college is a two-year school, but they help out in the long run of making your studies farther. I graduated from the school's printing program in May, 2000.
