My desire to continue to work after retirement. I am a people person... I enjoy people. I have been told many time "that I have never meet a stranger!!"

How would you describe what you did at Mobil Oil?

Full time cashier at a Gas Station / Convenience store. I work with the public, run the cash register, stock shelves, work the Michigan Lottery machine and general cleaning and closing of store each day.
A good general knowledge of dealing with the public in various situations.

How would you describe what you did at Mobil Oil?

Managed a wide variety of projects in relation to voice and data network capacity. Directed international telecommunications liaison activities. Aligned business unit needs with network designs, PTT's and international equipment vendors.

Major Contributions:
* Designed, presented and
executed on site a comprehensive plan outlining a $5 million strategy for an ISDN, voice and data network for Mobil Oil Australia, connecting 14 cities.
* Provided leadership to a staff of 30 engineers to establish numerous ISDN digital tandem network nodes, digital and analog SNA, X.25 backbone and end links and video conferencing facilities.
* Led the implementation of a large-scale 8 node global voice and data network spread out across 6-countries as Project Manager.
* Customized network designs and orchestrated all facets of international circuit installations for affiliates in the Pacific Rim, Europe and Canada.
* Migrated a major network node consisting of over 120 T-1 circuits, DACCS, multiplexers, control systems and ISDN switching center equipment from New York to the Washington, D.C area; provided planning and implementation direction, as well as resource coordination, to geographically dispersed teams.

Interaction with customers and vendors, cash handling and daily maintenance. Inventory of items. Restocking of materials for consumer use. Continually exceeded expected levels while ensuring workplace safety standards.
