How would you describe what you did at Monster?

Vice President 1999- 2001. Reporting to the President of Technology. Made needed organizational changes creating and consolidating departments to align with the ever changing business needs to increase company revenues from $20 million to over a billion dollars. Manage a $60 million dollar budget and successfully reduced expenses resulting in positively impacting earnings per diluted share by 290%.

Software Development: This function consists of web developers in 3 locations around the world servicing 28 countries with over 1,000 web sites creating and implementing Career Site Hosting, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and custom development.

CRM: Increased the performance of the Siebel application by 700%.

Management: Staff has ranged form 14 to over 300 though addition of responsibilities, acquisitions and divestitures. Turnover has been below 7%. Positively impacted the company by rapidly integrating 9 acquisitions to increase revenue and traffic. Three global divisions divested to focus our resources on building the Monster franchise and resulting in Monster joining the NASDAQ 100.

Sales Service Centers: Implemented 4 outbound European call centers, 3 US call centers and 1 Asia call center and several outsourced suppliers utilizing Monsters infrastructure. This effort successfully drove a 64% increase in International revenue in 2006 to $306.3 million.

Operations: Customers are served "24 by 7" through servers load balanced across two live production locations. The sites receive approximately a billion page views a month and send out over 4 million e-mails a day. Reduced costs by 17% ($10 million) while supporting a 20% growth in demand.

Directed implementation of strategic software portfolio and long-term implementation roadmap. Responsible for all business and systems analysis, technical design and project management for all core internet properties. Founded the organization and grew it to 14 team members within 6 months.

Also as Director of Employer Development, I directed all development for Monster's core Employer applications. Managed 25 developers across 7 applications. Dotted line management of 11 additional offshore development resources.... read more
